Interpretation of Quote
“Without clear lines of communication, our ideas
would stay within our own small
development teams instead of becoming mature products.
While this is obvious to those
of us who have become experienced engineers, the real
question is: Why is it lost to us
when we are engineering students?”
Akbar R Khan, Software Systems Engineer, USA,
“Good Communication Is Essential...” (2014)
My interpretation of this quote would be the paramount
importance of "communication" and how without "it" we can
have the most brilliant ideas but it would be "locked" within the walls of our
minds stunting its possible growth to be a "reality", especially for
engineers who often place the "technical" aspect above communication.
This stresses why good communication is a must and why everyone should try to acquire / polish said skill.
Thanks for your interpretation, Dillon.
